What a week in the Program is like.... PDF Print E-mail

A typical week includes:

Saturday: Orientation in the early evening
Sunday: Mornings free for attending church services
Early afternoon self-guided tours are suggested
Late afternoon dialogue: New Orleans Now: Race, Culture and Rebuilding
Early evening: New Orleans style dinner
Monday: Morning: work begins with one of our many partner agencies
Early evening: debriefing on placement, work and impressions of the city
Tuesday: Full day of work at community sites
Wednesday: Full day of work at community sites
Thursday: Full day of work at community sites
Early evening: final debriefing on the work week
Friday: Final day of work with evening free for exploring the city
Saturday: Early to mid-morning: departure with thoughts of next trip brewing

Each member of your group will need fill out our Registration Form and Liability Waiver. Please urge members to list their skills and interests as specifically as possible.
